Tease Dance and Fitness – Membership Terms and Commitment

Effective Date: Upon membership purchase

At Tease Dance and Fitness, membership pricing is based on two factors:

  • Length of commitment (3, 6, or 12 months)

  • Class count per month or week (4, 8, or 12 classes/month, or 1–3 classes/week)

Longer commitments = lower per-class rates and faster results. All memberships require you to complete the full term you select at signup.

1. Payment Terms

  • Billing Cycle: Memberships are billed automatically—either monthly or weekly, depending on your plan—using your chosen payment method.

  • Processing Fees: A 3% fee applies to credit/debit card payments. ACH bank draft avoids this fee.

  • Failed Payment Fee: $25 per failed payment due to insufficient funds, expired cards, or incorrect account details.

  • Weekly Plans: Unlimited memberships are not available on weekly autopay.

2. Class Usage Rules

  • Expiration: Class credits expire at the end of each billing period and do not roll over.

  • Late Cancel/No-Show: Cancel at least 4 hours before class to avoid losing the credit. Unlimited members will be charged a $15 fee.

  • Booking: Members are responsible for booking their own classes; space is subject to availability.

3. Commitment & Cancellation

  • Minimum Term: 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on plan.

  • Auto-Renewal: After your initial term, memberships continue automatically at the same rate on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis unless canceled in writing with at least 30 days’ notice.

  • Early Cancellation: Not allowed except as permitted by Illinois law (relocation, documented medical disability, death, or permanent studio closure). If you cancel early for other reasons, you’ll be charged the difference between your discounted rate and the standard non-commitment rate for all weeks/months used.

  • Freeze Option: One freeze (up to 60 days) per 12 months; request must be in writing at least 5 days in advance.

4. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refunds are only issued as required by law, including during the 3-day in-person or 7-day online/off-premises rescission period.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Receive clear billing statements upon request

  • Be notified of any fee or policy changes at least 30 days in advance

  • Dispute any billing errors within 60 days

  • Have your personal and payment information handled securely under applicable privacy laws

6. Legal Compliance

This agreement complies with:

  • Illinois Physical Fitness Services Act (815 ILCS 645)

  • Illinois Automatic Contract Renewal Act (815 ILCS 601)

  • Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act

By enrolling, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, and that your membership will renew automatically unless you cancel in writing with proper notice.
